About Asia in School - Black box


Asia in school – Black Box is one of the key programmes in the national culture festival Images of Asia, which takes place in August – September 2003 in a number of cities in Denmark. The festival is managed and coordinated by Danish Center for Culture and Development (DCCD). Several initiatives have supported the festival  - go to the sponsorpage


Asia in school – Black Box is a cooperative project between several NGO’s with O3V as responsible for the carrying out of the project.


The concept Black Box Exercise is developed by Zuni Icosahedron, art collective situated in Hong Kong.



The website is developed in cooperation with the Danish internet-portal U-land.dk which produces the Danish Internet portal on development countries, development, human rights and other global issues.


The school project has been designed in cooperation with DanChurchAid, County Training and Resource Centre in Aarhus, Save the Children Denmark, The Swallows in Denmark, Department of East Asian Studies at Aarhus University, The Peter Sabroe Teacher’s Training College, Aarhus University College of Education, The Danish Youth Council and teachers at schools in Greater Copenhagen.


The educational material has been written and compiled by journalist Berit Mühlhausen.
